When you delete a database, both the database configuration and data are removed.

To delete a database from the Cluster Manager UI:

1. From the **Databases** list, select the database, then select **Configuration**.

1. Select {{< image filename="/images/rs/icons/delete-icon.png#no-click" alt="Delete button" width="22px" class="inline" >}} **Delete**.

1. In the **Delete database** dialog, confirm deletion.
